Our Youth Band formed in October 2018 supported by SBBA, the Scottish Brass Band Association along with East Ayrshire Vibrant Communities with initial start up funding.

They perform at local events with the Senior Band as well as informal Community Events.

The youth band is supported by senior band mentors who offer regular assistance at rehearsals to support progress. 

Weekly rehearsals take place in our band hall in Newmilns Wednesdays 6.30-7.30pm.

Due to current restrictions rehearsals continue to take place virtually.
