The band took part in Brass Showcase 2017 on Sunday. We were the Top scoring band for Quality of Performance AND Contribution of Individuals & Soloists which gained us joint overall Top Scoring Band. Our Bb Basses Davie Murray & Davie Trusdale won Best Bass section of the day and principal Cornet Dougie Cameron picked up the Best Soloist prize. A great new event to be part of and a credit to those who helped the organisation go so smoothly. Well done to everyone involved
